But I do have a question. And I'm hoping it's answered before the actual con in a few weeks.
What are the details over the AMV contest? I've searched the site for the info, but all it says under "Events" is AMV contest. Is it too late to enter? How do we enter for this particular con? Is there an age limit (i.e. x age+)? What are the rules for it?

-I would like to see more updates taking place...(maybe start an official Twitter or YouTube for OmniCon?)
-More detailed in-depth information of the events, specifically. Entry forms would be nice, too...
-Easier accessible site. It took me a while to find out the forums.
-Pre-Reg info, possibly? No change in price, but since I had a bad experience from waiting to get a badge at the physical con, I always Pre-Reg now. >3<

I will be there, for sure, no doubt, but I will be driving from Austin to the Valley. A 5 hour drive. And this will be my first time going to OmniCon (no, not first time going to a con, I've been to big-name cons) so I'm expecting it to be good.

Well, on Myspace they posted a bulletin that said that all AMV entries had to be submitted by June 15th. And... that's about as much as I know.
And I couldn't agree more with your suggestions. With a little work, I'm pretty sure OmniCon could get to be quite a nice little con. <3
But if it's not as good as you expected you'll come back next year right? We need people to help make it bigger! D ' :
Yes, sadley the forum is not as active as the myspace. I do have many plans for the coming years con, seeing as how this year is picking up steam, I plan to completly overhaul the site, forum, and the Con itself. Be ready to start seeing changes almost as soon as the con finishes this year. It has been a slow process to get this con on its feet, but I definetly see it growing fast. thanks for the input and I will work on it ASAP.

Sales will be done at the door, no need to pre reg
Update will come as soon as a staff position is assigned. applications will be taken after this year.
A Twitter should start the day before the con and go through with live updated and feed back!
